Our Story
Who We Are
A tea house and greengrocer in Bafra. Open at five in the morning, closed at eight in the evening; the tea is hot, the gözleme is fresh and the stand is new every day.
One door, two trades: a tea stove and a gözleme griddle inside, a produce stand outside.
We light the stove at five in the morning. The door is open at that hour for anyone heading to an early shift, going to the market, or just after the first tea of the day — and it stays that way until eight in the evening.
We do not keep gözleme sitting around; it is rolled after you order and cooked on the griddle. There are eight kinds: plain, potato, white cheese, spinach, cheddar, minced meat, sucuk, and the chocolate one the children will not do without. Half-loaf toasties and köfte come off the same stove.
The stand outside is rebuilt every morning. We cut a watermelon so you can taste it, we trust a melon by its scent, and we sell greens the same day they arrive. And we deliver: home, office or workshop — tea in a flask, gözleme still warm.
In short: hot tea, good conversation and a fresh stand. That is what we are here for.
